Functionality

The National Leased Links (NLL) and The International Leased Links (ILL) services allow GTS customers to transfer data according to G.826 or G.821 standards, compliant with the ITU recommendation. Customer networks are physically connected to the GTS network and the network our international partner. In addition, GTS assures adequate parameters of transfer within the network.

Data is transferred in dedicated digital channels with constant throughput, intended exclusively for one user. Link throughput is specified as multiple E-1 (2 Mbps), E-3 (34 Mbps), STM-1(155 Mbps) or STM-4 (622 Mbps) channels – in accordance with SDH standards.

It is an end-to-end service: links are delivered to the indicated sites, irrespective of their location against GTS network nodes. The access link is terminated in the specified location within the building and constitutes an integral part of the solution with reliability guaranteed by GTS.

Nodes of the GTS network are also located abroad. Nodes in Frankfurt and Berlin enable direct connection of customer locations in these agglomerations. When it is necessary to connect sites located out of the local access networks range, GTS uses the services of the largest European and global providers. The list of GTS partners include: Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, British Telecom, Colt, Global Crossing.
