Central Internet access
The GTS Internet Access services can be an integral part of the WAN data transfer solution. It can be delivered to the central site of customers’ network and used in all active network points through this site. In another variant, the Internet access service can be delivered through the central logical point, off-loading the link in the headquarters.
IP Solution remote access services
A portfolio of product solutions providing unlimited access to IT applications and the company’s information resources within the IP Solution network. Any-time, any-place access to IP VPN is ensured through three primary channels of service provision:
- The Internet (encrypted access)
- Mobile network (wireless access)
- Telephone network (dial-in access)
Security suite — a dedicated firewall
GTS develops its telecommunications solutions with utmost care for compliance with network security standards. This is reflected in a dedicated firewall, configured in line with the standards adopted by our customers. The service ensures that the security policy is consistent with the specific nature of the company’s business.
ISDN backup link
In case where the WAN reliability is a key element of company’s operations and the security standards enforce the use of a backup link, automatic backup that expands the functionality of the managed router and uses a ISDN digital phone link can constitute an effective solution. If the primary link fails, the router establishes a VPN connection through the PSTN. Depending on the selected service option, the costs of backup connection can be covered by the provider.
Server hosting
The Internet Access services within the IP Solution allow to effectively manage company’s resources in the Internet (e.g. enterprise Web site, application for mobile employees etc.). In some cases, outsourcing these functions can significantly reduce costs of operations and streamline business processes. The Dedicated Hosting in the Internet Data Center of GTS completes the IP Solution service. It allows to maintain a dedicated device in the secure ICT environment of the Data Center.
GTS takes over the responsibility for reliable operations of the server along with its operating system, Internet access, backup system and for its physical security. Such solution allows to optimize the expenditure related to a self-maintained infrastructure.
Launching the BGP protocol
The customers using more than one Internet link (with their own Autonomous System number) can launch the dynamic routing protocol - BGP.
