Functionality
The IP Solution Service is one of the most sophisticated services offered by GTS. It leverages a number of cutting edge technologies, including a fully redundant IP network developed by CISCO Global.
The service is provided on our own network resources across the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania and Slovakia.
GTS can also connect Customer sites located outside our local access network using the services of major European and global telecom operators. The MPLS network of the GTS infrastructure has nodes in Frankfurt, Vienna and Berlin, which facilitates our cooperation with our partners, such as Deutsche Telekom, France Telecom, British Telecom, Colt or Global Crossing.

The IP Solution Service has a Managed and Unmanaged version.
The Managed service is its classical format. The Customer is provided with a managed IP VPN network, including the terminal equipment and an option to use a selection of value-added services, which include QoS, backup service and performance monitoring.
In case of the Unmanaged variety, the responsibility for network equipment management lies with GTS' Customers, who usually choose to transmit their data using their own routers. With an unmanaged service, QoS logic and Classes of Service are agreed on case-by-case basis.
