Managed Hosting
The Managed Dedicated Hosting is a step towards hosting service outsourcing that encompasses not only hardware platform but also complete management of the operating system, standard applications and all areas requiring full administrative rights. Within this option, customers do not receive full administrator rights. All works that require such rights are delivered by the GTS team (Figure 1).

The customer can also manage the server, unless the modifications require administrative access. On the service provisioning stage, the Customer receives a ready-to-use machine equipped with the operating system and basic applications, as defined in Table 1.

Due to the possibility of transferring entire management, additional applications requiring administrative rights are installed by GTS engineers at service maintenance stage.
The Management service.
The Management service applies to the Data Center infrastructure, IP networks, hosting servers, operating system and server applications that require administrator rights (Table 2).

The standard Managed Hosting service offer includes 3 major classes of servers differentiated by hardware configuration:
Value-added services.
Managed Firewall.
GTS builds communications solutions with the highest care of maintaining network security standards. Sometimes, it is however necessary to define an individual security policy due to the business needs of the Customer. The Managed Firewall service addresses these needs and can be developed in addition to the standard offer for the Customer. Within the service, GTS provides the customer with a dedicated firewall together with its maintenance and administration. The firewall is placed in the GTS Data Center and the solution we offer is based on Cisco PIX or Nokia/CheckPoint devices, depending on customer’s requirements.
