GTS will provide UniCredit with an additional data center

GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based telecommunications operator and data center service provider in CEE, will provide its long standing client, UniCredit Bank, with over 60m2 of data center services in Czech Republic. The UniCredit group has already been using GTS data center services for its secondary colocation operations for a long period of time. Now, UniCredit, one of the most important banks on the Czech market, has decided to move its primary data center to GTS and thus will close an additional contract with the operator, its current data center service provider on the Czech market. -

GTS opens a new data center in Slovakia

GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based telecommunications operator and data center service provider, recently opened a new data center in Bratislava, Slovakia. The data center, comprising an area of over 3000 square metres, is built in accordance with TIER 3 standards. The expansion of the GTS data center portfolio is a direct response to the growing demand for housing and hosting services. GTS now operates a total of 14 data centers in CEE region. -

At the same time, it will present its new slogan “GTS. For the Working World” which reflects a focus on the corporate sector. The main theme of the campaign is the cloud computing service which is currently one of the most significant trends in field of ICT services. The campaign will be followed up with special background material which will assist sales staff in guiding customers through the world of cloud computing. -
GTS – first CEE carrier with MEF Certification for Ethernet services

GTS Central Europe (GTS), a leading infrastructure-based telecommunications operator and data center services provider, announced today the successful completion of testing to MEF 9 and MEF 14 Certification for its portfolio of Ethernet Services. The MEF (Metro Ethernet Forum) certification program is the telecommunication industry’s reference for Carrier Ethernet excellence. GTS thus becomes the first central and eastern European based operator which has attained this certification. -
IMS Polska - a new client of GTS

GTS Poland Sp. z o. o., one of the largest alternative communication carriers in Poland, concluded a contract with IMS Polska Sp. z o.o., a furniture manufacturer. The contract requirements for customer service were comprehensive, and GTS was able to deliver a full transmission service and data centre package. -
GTS will provide IP VPN service for Tesco in the entire region

GTS Central Europe (GTS) has announced that they will provide IP VPN services for the Tesco retail chain stores throughout the entire central and eastern European region. Mutual cooperation in the Czech Republic will thereby be expanded to include Hungary, Poland and Slovakia totaling nearly 1000 stores.
