GTS Poland Sp. z o. o., one of the largest alternative communication carriers in Poland, concluded a contract with IMS Polska Sp. z o.o., a furniture manufacturer. The contract requirements for customer service were comprehensive, and GTS was able to deliver a full transmission service and data centre package.

The client’s needs for data transmission are fulfilled using IP technology, based on IP Solution MPLS. This is a reliable and secure solution, as communication between the many company branches is separated from the public network. The resulting ICT Enterprises Network connects ten of the client’s branches, allowing its employees, regardless of their geographical location, to have access to the same sources of information. This has a positive result through streamlining communication throughout the organization. The Enterprises Network also makes it possible to exploit fully the rich functionality of the enterprise management system of IMS Polska.

In order to provide a one hundred percent reliable company network, an additional component for IP Solution was designed and introduced. It is known as Mobile Solution and ensures unlimited access to company IT applications and information, regardless of time or location. Data transmission occurs over the GSM network.

Another service which GTS performs for IMS Polska is collocation. The servers responsible for the operation of the company’s crucial applications and systems are located in the GTS data centre, which fulfils the highest security standards. Remote access to the servers is provided within the Enterprises Network.

IMS Polska is a newly acquired GTS client. The decision to choose GTS instead of continuing with the previous service provider was determined by a number of factors:
