GTS Poland Sp. z o.o. and GTS Energis Sp. z o.o. merged on 4 May 2011. Both companies, which up to this point operated separately, belong to the GTS Central Europe Group. The new entity has been named: GTS Poland Sp. z o.o.

The merger of the companies is the last stage of GTS CE Group consolidation in Poland. It was preceded by the purchase of 2.5% of GTS Energis Sp. z o.o. shares from PKP S.A. in August 2010.

In line with the idea of rebranding which took place last autumn, GTS Poland will take the name corresponding to the nomenclature accepted for all companies belonging to the Group – the first part is GTS and the second is the name of the country where it has its business activity. GTS Poland also uses the GTS Brand common for the whole Group.
